Collagen is a quite important protein in the human body and mainly exists in connective tissues. Based on the characteristics and main functional domains of human collagen, Gene-Biocon re-optimized and designed the gene sequence of the fragment of human type III collagen to achieve the efficacy of skin repair, regeneration and rejuvenation.
Gene-Biocon’s Recombinant Human Collagen III (hereafter referred to as rhCol III) was derived from the fragment of human type III collagen and expressed by Pichia Pasteuris. The rhCol III is a high safety high molecular biological protein with no any pathogenic microorganisms by the preparation process that uses genetic engineering recombination technology. The process contains molecular design, activity screening, strain construction, high-density fermentation, separation, purification, etc.
