On 22 May 2020, the unveiling ceremony of the joint laboratory between Gene-Biocon Biotechnology Co., Ltd. and Jinan University was held in Zhuhai. There had three leaders attended the meeting: including Mr. Wang Yifei, (Deputy Dean of the Biomedical Research Institute of Jinan University), Mr. Chen Zequn, (Deputy General Manager of the Biomedical Research and Development Base of Jinan University), Mr. Xiao Yongjun, (General Manager of Gene-Biocon), and Ms. Luo Xiangji, (Executive Director of Gene-Biocon).
At the beginning of the meeting, Mr. Xiao and Mr. Wang Co-unveiling the plaque of the joint laboratory. Then Mr. Xiao has introduced the advantages of industrialization of our company--- the strength of technology, advanced R&D laboratory of, comply with GMP standard pilot plant, and sound quality management system and abundant experience of industrialization of drugs, also briefly introduce the R&D team and series product of our company. Mr. Wang, (Deputy Dean of the Biomedical Research Institute of Jinan University), expressed that the Institute of Jinan University is good at pharmacy, traditional Chinese medicine, growth factors, and also has in-depth research on genetic engineering. The cooperation between Gene-Biocon and Jinan University can complement each other's advantages in academic and industrialization, which could expand and deepen cooperation in talent training.
The establishment of this joint laboratory, not only cultivate talent for Biomimetic Cosmetic Peptides, but also create a good start for industry-university-research cooperation.
