Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API) are compounds created through various chemical combinations—not direct raw materials. API manufacturing involves a wide array of complex chemical or biological production processes.
Gene-Biocon's API raw materials production by a variety of high-tech and multiple steps, including procedures for selecting compound structures, producing large quantities of the selected APIs, and analyzing compounds for quality control and assurance. During our manufacturing process, we have established standards to determine the proportion of API in the biopharmaceutical drug. Of course, these proportions will also be adjusted according to the API of different drugs and the requirements of different manufacturers.
